Current Obsession: Preacher (TV Show)

What: A small town preacher with a dark past, a mysterious woman with a penchant for violence, and an Irish drug-addict vampire, all walk into a church...oh and there is an escaped divine power on the loose blowing up religious leaders. This Kill Bill style, gritty magical realism, story of love and good vs. evil, is brought to you by Seth Rogan & team. 

Why: Dominic Cooper (plays Ironman’s dad in the Marvel cinematic universe) stars alongside Ruth Negga (Raina from Agents of SHIELD) in this graphic novel adaptation. The characters are brought together against a common enemy--a pair of bureaucratic angels--and their literal search for God leads them on a journey of destruction and self-discovery.

If you like dark comedies, Tarantino-esque violence and gore, religious commentary, woven together with feminism and complex character explorations, you’ll die laughing throughout this entire series.
